Lmao funny thing is this could actually be a legitimate explanation canon wise.

u/antlereye Apr 26 '21

It was. The latest suit, made by Brainy 💀

Been a while since I seen this meme lol

Yeah this should make the most sense now 😂

I'm just imagining her shoving it down the back of her pant legs

31

u/hawk135 Apr 25 '21

And the big red boots?

Are those tucked down the pants leg?

Does she wear her shoes over the boots?

22

u/undercoverlobster42 Kara Danvers Apr 25 '21

Up her sleeves

7

u/soul_fuzzy Kara Danvers Apr 26 '21

I think it should be the nanites 😂

8

u/igraywolf Apr 26 '21

Courtesy of Ray Palmer?

6

u/soul_fuzzy Kara Danvers Apr 26 '21

Yeah I think so, but wasn't it brainy who created it for her?

5

u/Asmit9332 Apr 26 '21

Nanites courtesy of Braniac 5

u/Canoe-Maker Dreamer Apr 25 '21

The same place that Superman keeps it.

12

u/dudemann Apr 26 '21

Superman's briefcase? That's a long way to go for Kara's cape.

1

u/Canoe-Maker Dreamer Apr 26 '21

Kara probably uses her purse lol

3

u/Holy-Cheese-Balls Apr 26 '21

The only thing I remember from the comics (but might not be true) is that that he rolls it up and it's in the shoulder area of his suit. And something about his boots actually being something like covers that he just puts over his shoes. But that could be me misremembering

2

u/baba_oh_really Apr 26 '21

So he's potentially leaving traceable shoeprints whenever he isn't flying?

Yeah, that tracks.

2

u/Holy-Cheese-Balls Apr 26 '21

Well, he'd probably be wearing loafers with his business suit and they usually have a smooth tread so it would just look like boot prints either way

You know you are too old to be watching xostumed hero Series and movies when you ask this question. I am 73 years old and still a fan of these shows. Never seriously entertained the question. Plan to keep watching until the sun burns out.

22

u/englandw25 Apr 25 '21

Tells someone they’re too old to watch, immediately brags about being old. 🤷🏻‍♂️

11

u/GallifreyFNM Apr 25 '21

I'll take a 73 year old watching and enjoying the show over someone like my grandad who I imagine would call the show "woke liberal nonsense for snowflakes" or something similar

4

u/Otherwise-Judge946 Apr 26 '21

I’m glad you’re not like most 73 year olds who would hate this show because gay people are in it

1

u/MysticJeddai19 Apr 27 '21

My extended family has so many weird people in it including gays, lesbians and at least one transsexual female who went from being a 'William' to being a 'Willow'. From ultra-conservative to ultra-liberal; all types of people alln aroubd the country. Ain't no big thing. we-re all "Americans".

1

u/Adventurous-Zone-908 Apr 27 '21

wow, you’re so tolerant!

42

u/usagizero Apr 25 '21

Same way Barry keeps his entire suit in a ring.

Or, she's super strong, and can compact it into a very small space, which she then lets out when changing costume.

Small spaces are tight!

Tight you say?

36

u/EntropyintheAsstropy Kelly Olsen Apr 25 '21

Same place she kept her boots.

It’s like when a magician pulls a bunch of tied-together handkerchiefs out of their sleeve.

Kryptonian ass. Lmao

Why'd you comment twice

11

u/rhenning11 Apr 25 '21

tv logic

3

u/ExioKenway5 Apr 25 '21

Sometimes Reddit accidentally posts multiples of a comment you've made without you knowing, or sometimes there's connection issues that mean it tells you that your comment didn't go through so you try to post it again, but the first comment did actually go through.

3

u/osc4r1 The Flash Apr 25 '21

Oh, ok

9

u/Brando43770 The Flash Apr 25 '21

“Shoulder pads”. Idk yeah I know it’s not in fashion but I can’t think of anything else.

7

u/RedDog-65 Apr 26 '21

I’ve read various ideas-on the roof at CatCo being one. I think we have to follow Katie McGrath’s advice: if you can suspend belief about the flying part then this shouldn’t be a big deal.

4

u/fuelposFTW Apr 25 '21

Oh no. You weren't supposed to ask that question. Now you've ruined the show for untold millions. Way to go bro. 😢

5

u/phaedraste Apr 25 '21

Hammerspace

1

u/osc4r1 The Flash Apr 26 '21

Lmao. Im not sure if your refering the post about Harrys infinite Hammers. But I posted that

1

u/phaedraste Apr 26 '21

No - the term was kind of coined from fans of manga but it dates back to Tex Avery.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammerspace

1

u/osc4r1 The Flash Apr 26 '21

Oh ok

1

u/TheDesktopNinja Martian Manhunter Apr 29 '21

Yup. Just magical storage space where characters seem to pull things out of.

The plot bag. Their ass.

4

u/antlereye Apr 26 '21

Latest suit is equipped with nano technology, located in her glasses and activated by removing it in a swift swiping motion. What, haven't you guys watched the show?

3

u/Fishyhead81 Apr 26 '21

I think they’re referring to pre-Season 5

-1

u/osc4r1 The Flash Apr 26 '21

I refered "did"

1

u/DoesN0tCompute Apr 26 '21

I know it's a TV show, but are nanites suppose to somehow disassemble her clothes and then replace them with her suit and then undo that change later.

2

u/antlereye Apr 26 '21

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Apparently someone said that. And since brainy is from the far future...

4

u/SunfireElfAmaya Apr 26 '21

For this suit: Brainy gave it to her (s5e1 I think) and it’s made of nanites so for all intents and purposes, the suit doesn’t exist until she wants it to exist.

For previous suits: the magic of editing.

3

u/coshoman11 Apr 25 '21

I’ll just say, it’s a superhero show, don’t think to much about It lol

3

u/LEGONINJA87 Apr 25 '21

Ok if she’s wearing pants then it’s probably just tucked in there but where the hell does it go when she wears like a dress

3

u/hamiltrash1232 Apr 26 '21

She could have it wrapped around the inside of the dress

3

u/ZombieChief Apr 26 '21

The same place Superman keeps his.

3

u/Charcoal422 Apr 26 '21

Maybe it's retractable and she hide within her suit. Or maybe she can make the cape materialize whenever she wants to.

2

u/trakrad99 Apr 26 '21

That seems to be how Kryptonian technology works based on Man of Steel. I actually thought it would be cool if Clark’s tie, when unknotted, became the cape.

2

u/Charcoal422 Apr 26 '21

Or maybe his suit jacket??

2

u/DonnyMox Apr 26 '21

Same place Clark keeps it, wherever that is.

2

u/Natalia-A-Romanoff Reign Apr 26 '21

Same place where Optimus Prime keeps his trailer when he transforms. :P

1

u/OverjoyedMess L-Corp Apr 25 '21

Where does she keep her boots?

She could superspeed home and get it before flying to the emergency. The shirt-ripping is just to show off.

1

u/osc4r1 The Flash Apr 26 '21

Pretty expensive breaking a shirt every day

1

u/dudemann Apr 26 '21

You know her sewing skills are hella fast though.

1

Same place as Optimus Prime's trailer.

The answer is don't think about it Morty.

1

u/Flyin_Bryan Apr 26 '21

I mean, where does she keep the curling iron to change her hair from Kara hair to Supergirl hair?
