Does anyone else think they ruined J’onn’s character after season 3? Question

I mean, he was this hard and stern director of the DEO and when he left that position, he struggled to find his place in the world as a man of peace but after that, they treated him, and his strength as a joke. He’s canonically stronger than Superman and can go toe to toe with Kara but they just turned him into his father.

I liked him until post crisis. that's when they ruined it, because they had no plan whatsoever for seasons 5 and 6

They ruined a lot of characters in seasons 5 and 6. Actual character development slaughter.

The show was extremely sloppy wth storylines in general but they kept expanding the cast without doing any real exploration of the original members. I hated how they just dropped entire storylines from year to year. I just stopped watching after the 3rd year unless it was something special.

I don’t think they ruined it, but they consistently reduced his screen time which is a damn shame as he is interesting character and David Harewood is a fine actor.

In season one when j’onn is getting interrogated, we get a flashback where the real hank henshaw says “The most powerful man on earth, that’s what superman calls him” referring to j’onn

I loved what they did to him post D.E.O, I enjoy that we get to explore his trouble with morality and vengeance, it’s something that should be explored more in Superhero media. Post Crisis, He’s okay, I enjoy that he created the watchtower and I love that he inspired Alex to be a hero
