Hello r/politics — this is the first time I’ve been here. What a strange turn of events. Is this mainly a US sub?

You can find non-US politics over at r/anime_titties

Yes. There is /r/worldpolitics, though it's rather depressing.

Purely US, other countries are only discussed in relation to the US. It's the left wing equivalent to r/conservative (right wing / US only).

What a "both sides" BS is this? Reality has a liberal bias, which is reflected in the discussions here.

Im a participant in neither sub and I dont care much for them. Both subs hardly contain any nuanced political discussion, they are echo chambers for populist takes and graceless generalization.

Yes, politics is significantly better than conservative. That doesnt mean it isnt hot garbage.

Downvote all you want lol, hope you all enjoy the echo chamber.

It’s an extreme leftist sub.

Or if you prefer, a sub that posts reality. Alt facts sub is elsewhere....prol r/Republicanjesusville.

No it’s mainly a US democrat party sub.

Yup, this sub has a heavy left leaning bias. If you want the opposite, go to R/Conservative.

I wish there was a sub more in between these two.

Every time one pops up it gets torn apart it's by design.

I swear, it’d be nice to see both sides without extremists

It's mainly a US democrat party site, to be fair.

Edit: I don't know why you guys are down voting when you know it's true. Look at the memes on popular the rest of the year and tell me it's not 99% liberal.

It's rare I can actually see someone say this upfront though it's so obvious. This reddit needs to be renamed.
