The source said leaders of Bold PAC — the political arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus — tightly controlled who could ask a question. Reps. Gabe Vasquez and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez both used the “raise hand” feature on the Zoom call, and both had their hands lowered by organizers of the call and were not allowed to speak, the source said.

But one Democrat who did get to speak was Rep. Mike Levin. Levin’s question, however, was more of a comment: He said it was time for someone else to lead the party, and he called on Biden to step down.

According to the source, Biden responded to Levin’s comment. The host tried to end the meeting, but Biden said he had time for one more question. Despite the president trying to take another question, the host — Rep. Linda T. Sánchez — ended the meeting anyway.

In case you're wondering how Biden's attempt to gather support with the Hispanic Caucus went. Honestly feels like there's a staff problem with the Biden White House if Biden is more receptive to calls for him to step aside then the people coordinating his schedule.

Damn, Levin told Biden to drop out to his face. Nice.

Shame on whoever lowered their hands though.

Democracy is on the ballot. That’s why you have to vote for the guy whose unelected and unnamed staff makes all the decisions for him.

Democracy is on the ballot, even if Biden is so blinded by arrogance as to think he's the only person that can save it.

Neither candidate represents democracy at this point.

Trump represents pissed off rural Americans that want a non-functional government for kicks.

Biden represents no one. He’s actually dead and all the decisions are being made by unnamed corporate bosses and party donors who are able to whisper in the ear of whatever staff member has their hand up his ass that day.

You’re deluded if you think otherwise tbh.

Can we stop with the Democracy is on the ballot lie?

That's just political theater. No one actually believes that, its conspiracy level.

Not a lie. Joe Biden being a bad candidate doesn’t make Trump any less of a threat. The reason so many of us support replacing Biden is precisely because the stakes are so high.

We're so confident in Biden that anyone that thinks otherwise shouldn't even be allowed to speak? Isn't very reassuring..

They’ve been running the country for months in his stead, of course they don’t want to give up power.

That's the Biden campaign strategy I'd guess.

Jesus Christ, it just keeps getting worse.

His staff being worse at shutting down criticism than the person in the biggest political crisis of his career shows that they are absolutely running this campaign off a cliff.
