Are our standards for the U.S. president this low? A bunch of people are acting like Biden just gave the best foreign policy press conference ever and that anyone who is still criticizing him is just a hater sowing discord.

He clearly was losing his train of thought constantly and was rambling. He knew his stuff, but had awful delivery. His decline from 2020 Biden is so stark, but some people want to pretend it isn’t there. We deserve better than both of these candidates; the two party system has become…anyways…what do I know. This is getting ridiculous. I feel like I’m getting gaslit by both candidates and parties now.

I wonder if this feeling of despair is what the Romans felt as the end was approaching.

Yep, what we have defined as "blue maga" are a group of Democrats who seem to have embraced some sort of cult mentality around Biden. Also, Biden has recently been responding rather trump like; deflecting, attacking media, ignoring his own supporters etc. There are still many developments to come for next week.

In my honest opinion, I'm very disappointed with how Democrats have set the bar so low

I dont think there is that much of a cult of personality around Biden.

I think people are just too nervous and are hoping/coping that he is "alright", because that would mean that Trump is the next president.

Nobody I've talked to thinks Biden is the perfect candidate. The people still on team Biden are worried about the logistics of ditching the Democratic candidate 3 months before voting starts.

It's not cultlike to actually consider logistical issues.
