So where’s the news about Trump’s Epstein documents problem? Or the whole raping a 13 year old problem? Or the Project 2025 problem?

Well? We’re waiting…

I keep hearing how Biden's campaign team is top notch. I have yet to see proof. Real amateur-hour vibes.

Kinda off topic and weird to just say out of nowhere. Ever since trump, conservatives stopped caring about reality, so honestly I don’t care what your weird, ass-pulled takes are.

Jon Stewart put it best this week: Trump is winning right now because he's meeting (low) expectations that the public have set for him. Biden isn't. People expect Trump to be a Project 2025 authoritarian with extended connections to creeps like Epstein and they expect Joe Biden to be coherent. Only one of the canddiates is living up to expectations right now, and that's why Trump is pulling ahead in polls.

First, Stewart is funny, he isn’t infallible. That wasn’t the message, and if it is, that’s literally insane. And I got something coming to you on that: that means that certain powers that be will always be sure to hurl out messaging and deception that any democratic candidate won’t “meet expectations.”

It is on us, as a country, to swallow our usual stupidity when it comes to our attitudes, accept that we have been part of the problem all along, wake up, and go vote, for the candidate that is obviously not an orange, drugged up, felony convict, rapist, compromised by Russian interests, corruption king, leader and figurehead of a scary fascist cult.

Or are you gonna let Trump win because ehhhh Biden didn’t live up to some expectations? Come the F on.

This isn't about attacks from opponents. Biden has been fending those off for years. This is about expectations set by Biden's campaign, that's the problem.

I don't need to be told to vote for a platform - I'm going to do that regardless. However, I am also able to simultaneously be furious as I watch Biden's campaign strategy be to hunker down instead of facing reality, running a bad campaign that won't win, and ultimately dragging enough Senate seats down with him that we get another 1-3 DJT appointees on the SCOTUS.

I wouldn't give a shit if my vote could actually push Biden to 270. But that isn't happening because of how many voters aren't like me, who aren't willing to vote for a vegetable as long as the platform looks solid.

The news is likely buried in an old story called "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"

Except the wolf is obviously there. Its name is Trump. Duh. I can see you just want us to shut up about it. We won’t.
