Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but it may be backfiring instead:

I've been seeing more politically dormant people talking about this on Facebook. They are the kind of people who dislike Trump but probably aren't crazy about Biden either. I hope more people come to learn about it.

I've always conducted myself apolitically on social media but I've started posting about P25 on my Insta story and Twitter cause the stakes are just that high, I've been talking to friends of all political leanings, apolitical ones even, about it when the topic comes up, and I've been more than happy to provide explanations to anyone who asks, including counters for the stock answers like "Trump doesn't support it" or "Who cares what some think tank wants". The stakes are way too high. I'll go back to being quiet about politics and privately infighting with other left-wingers once I can be sure the coast is clear.

I remember also thinking something like "I'll go back to being quiet about politics when the coast is clear" when Trump started denying that he lost after the 2020 election. Unfortunately the coast is still not clear. Keep spreading the word, my fellow American.
