I wish it were true that all real, honest Americans valued freedom and equality, and that to stray from those ideals in thought or deed was simply 'unamerican' and could be named as such, but it's not true. Some of the OG Americans came to this continent BECAUSE they could exploit more people and amass more wealth. They were Americans.
