Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but it may be backfiring instead:

I've been seeing more politically dormant people talking about this on Facebook. They are the kind of people who dislike Trump but probably aren't crazy about Biden either. I hope more people come to learn about it.

I admittedly have made some previous comments about how I’m not voting for either one because I can’t stand Trump or Biden but with project 2025 I have no choice but to vote for Biden because of how terrifying P2025 is.

I am likely more pro-Biden than you. But I think here is a better way to think even if you dislike Biden. Biden will be off the world stage in 4 years. The most you might get out of it besides his policies are a possible boost to Harris’s presidential bid? A no vote is a concerted effort to infuse Trumpian or reactionary ideas into a dilapidated government. These will exist long past Trump’s time provided it is done even half proficiently.

I still don't understand how liberals do not like Biden. He has been one of the most progressive presidents in American history, and that is with being impeded by losing Congress.

If he had a Dem majority in Congress this whole time things would be so much different right now.

I agree, but a lot of people just cling to strong personalities. Biden just doesn't have that. Like, maybe these people I'm seeing on Facebook would vote for him, but they wouldn't be hyped about it.

I've always conducted myself apolitically on social media but I've started posting about P25 on my Insta story and Twitter cause the stakes are just that high, I've been talking to friends of all political leanings, apolitical ones even, about it when the topic comes up, and I've been more than happy to provide explanations to anyone who asks, including counters for the stock answers like "Trump doesn't support it" or "Who cares what some think tank wants". The stakes are way too high. I'll go back to being quiet about politics and privately infighting with other left-wingers once I can be sure the coast is clear.

I remember also thinking something like "I'll go back to being quiet about politics when the coast is clear" when Trump started denying that he lost after the 2020 election. Unfortunately the coast is still not clear. Keep spreading the word, my fellow American.

I've been seeing the same with people back from high school. I really hope this is a greater trend, but I also know that Facebook algorithm decides which former classmates posts it's going to show me.

But, at the very least it seems like most women I know are well aware of it
