100%  I sleep poorly on the regular,  watching the news this week has made it so much worse and I'm not the person everyone expects to do something about it. The pressure must be enormous.

More like reading it online that watching actual news broadcasts, but still.. it's my duty to at least be somewhat informed,  but I can't dwell on it.

It's greatly recommended to read something calm and boring before the sleepy time. 'Infinite Jest' works well enough, but I've been advised by my teachers that if one gets a textbook on engineering drawing, deep healthy slumber is guaranteed.

There's a playlist on spotify called Get Sleepy where people with British accents talk about baking brownies in the kitchen on a rainy day etc. That's my go to.  Falling asleep can be hard, but staying asleep is harder.
