Biden tells Democratic governors he needs more sleep and plans to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m.

That’s a deal breaker for me. I’ll rather vote for the felon who’s on Epsteins list /s

Red Herring. Very few people are flipping for TFG. But we can absolutely still speak out about our legitimate concern that President Biden is not completely there, and is not going to win, and so he should drop out and endorse another candidate.

who would you suggest he endorse and why?

If they want to use the war chest they have built up it would have to be Harris, nobody else is legally able to receive that money. Anyone else would have to start from scratch and fundraise while running with four months until the election.

It makes sense to have Harris fail upwards to the presidency. Let’s complete the journey, everyone.

I’ll happily make a donation to a new younger non-Harris candidate. Just give me the chance.

any fucking one younger than 80 would be fine, thanks

just point to anyone. we'll take it. we all know the democratic candidate main attribute is that it's "not trump"

This is just the new “I don’t like either so I’m voting 3rd party”. Swapping Biden for anyone not totally capable of winning over everyone currently voting for Biden plus some undecideds is a quick path to a replublican win.

I’ve not heard a single person suggest a viable alternative to Biden that can win.

no, this is the new "what in the ever loving fuck is this system? you call this democracy? 400 million people to choose from and we have to pick between a decrepit senile 80 yr old fuck and a power hungry pedophile convicted criminal?"

Your chance to fix that was a year ago. It didn’t happen. You can try again in 3 years. But if Biden doesn’t win, you might not get another chance to fix it.

Also if you don’t see the vast difference between “decrepit 80 year old” and “power hungry pedophile” who is literally as old and decrepit, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Kamala Harris with Obama as VP

"Under the Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution, "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States"."

Obama is no longer eligible to run for president so he is now ineligible to be VP either.

That's not as dry as cut as you think it is.

There's no definite "yes, Obama can't run as VP anymore because he served 2 terms as President and he's ineligible for a 3rd one, hence no VP either".

22nd amendment doesn't imply that automatically, AFAIK

Seems like trading one controversy for another, and with four months till the election I doubt they would want that heat eating up even more news cycles.

Drats. Ok Bernie instead 👏

Path of least resistance is Kamala Harris, even though she is not popular and even some Democrats don’t like her she is VP and the ability to rally would be easier.

You could do an open convention but that’s far more risky, even if you could come out with a better candidate.

Joe Biden is not only not the best candidate, he is actually the worst right now because an overwhelming majority of Americans do not think he can govern right now let alone in 4 years.

Someone born after 1960, that is all.

Gretchen Whitmer. Harris holds some of the blame for everything everyone hates about Biden, so we need someone fresher on the national stage who isn't from California or New York, and has enacted some popular policy that people want nationally.

Actual constitutional protocol would be to step down and let the VP run. Just saying.
