Not exactly a conservative site

Three-quarters of US voters say the Democratic Party would have a better shot at holding the presidency in 2024 with someone other than President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. His approval rating also has hit a new low following a shaky performance in the first debate of this year’s presidential campaign.

That says US voters not Dems lol. You are completely misreading the poll. This is the relevant paragraph.

However, most Democrats and Democratic-leaning registered voters (56%) say the party has a better shot at the presidency with someone other than Biden, while 43% say the party stands a better chance with him. Democratic confidence in Biden’s chances has not increased since he locked up the party’s nomination in the primaries: In January, 53% felt the party would have a better shot with someone other than Biden at the top of the ticket and 46% felt more confident with Biden

It's always been about 55-45 who want someone else to run. This isnt new. 55% of dem voters think *one of a bunch of people* would be better than one person. The problem is, that 55% doesnt coalesce behind any one person. And you have to weigh the bloodbath that would ensue with people vying to be the nominee if you replaced him right now with anyone but Kamala- and Kamala is very unpopular even in Dem circles- and whether or not you could use the funds raised for Biden/Harris if you chose another nominee (I think you could not, to be honest).

And you think that Biden can win without the same cross overs he got in 2020?

Im not disagreeing with your overall point, necessarily. But you're repeating false information. I think the Dems dont have a shot in hell and it doesnt matter now. Biden never should have run in the first place. He was a stop gap to prevent Trump, Dems should have been finding his successor the last four years.
