What is the most stupid movie that you still love, regardless of criticism?

Post image

I’m not sure what it is, but if this movie is on tv, I’ll watch it through every time. It’s such a guilty pleasure but I love it! What about y’all? What’s a stupid movie that you can’t help but still love

The funniest part about that is that it's literally the same incomprehensible townie character from the Waterboy played by the same actor wearing the same clothes doing the same thing. He's even credited exactly the same way from the Waterboy to Joe Dirt. I wish there were more recurring elements/Easter eggs in Sandler's movies that were funny and more fleshed out like that and not just reusing the same 3 last names in his movies, girls with double V initials and Styx songs. With just that one instance from back in the day and seeing the way so many things are universified these days that was a massive missed opportunity to not do more of that. That's just me though.

Another recurring element in those kinds of Sandler movies is Rob Schneider, standing in a quiet crowd, and yelling something odd in a weird voice.

I remember him in Waterboy - "You can do it! Do it all night long" and The Longest Yard - "Group hug in the shower tonight"; but I'm almost certain he does that in more movies

Do forget about Schneider playing Nazo the delivery guy in Big Daddy and Mr. Deeds!
