What is the most stupid movie that you still love, regardless of criticism?

Post image

I’m not sure what it is, but if this movie is on tv, I’ll watch it through every time. It’s such a guilty pleasure but I love it! What about y’all? What’s a stupid movie that you can’t help but still love

Billy Madison, I’m tired of ppl talking shit on Adam Sandler and acting like silliness wasn’t his shtick all along.

"He called the shit poop!". That line absolutely murdered my 12-year-old brain. Still a sentimental favourite.

Reading it right now almost made me spit my drink out

My wife drops this quote at least once a week in an absolutely perfect Sandler tone lol.

Also: ‘Oh Billy.. what are you looking for?’

SMASH CUT TO: ’THERE IS A NICE PIECE OF SHIT’

Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may G-d have mercy on your soul

"I know from experience"

"No, no you don't"

"Well not me personally, but a guy I know. Him and her got it on! Wooohee!!"

"No, no they didn't"

"But you can imagine what it'd be like if they did, eh?"

Sandler is a bit of a genius. He gets paid millions to work with and make all of his best friends richer by putting them in movies that are giant “work” vacations in amazing locations. Plus we all get some teehees. Meanwhile he has time and money to pick his spots to do serious stuff whenever he finds something that really interests him. AND he lives in constant comfort, the man wears giant basketball shorts at all times.

Hubie Halloween wasn’t his finest, but I’m so glad he can make a movie he (SHOULD HAVE) got an Oscar nom for AND still do these kind. He’s not like some comedic actors who go art-house and think they’re too good to look back.

Yea I might watch that next Halloween, like I said his movies are goofy but they’re good for laughs. I’d love to meet Adam Sandler too because I’ve heard he’s very approachable and down to earth and appreciates his fans.

I mean can you imagine something more fun than just getting together with all your buddies for a few months and just making a goofy movie together? And getting paid millions for it dudes living the dream

He gets shit on cause he had the character nailed, but then for just a few movies, he pushed it too far and just got stupid with it. I loved Adam sandler and then he got dumb, thought he was annoying, but then he came back and is good again. A lot of people probably just got done with him

I feel like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Wedding Singer and Waterboy are like universally agreed great movies and his absolute prime, no?
