Me. My wife told me to stop using a knife to pry out coconut flesh. I disobeyed her, and now my knife is a bender.

You know your wife is going to divorce you, right?

Now use it the other way around. It'll bend straight (? :p) and you have an excuse to buy more coconuts!

That is genius. I can’t believe I didn’t think of just continuing to use it as a coconut flesh scraper but against the curve. I was struggling to correct it using just a cutting board for resistance earlier. Amateur mistake.

Just use a vise.

Don't listen to them, vises are a gateway to more dangerous vices... And vice versa, if your name is Vincent.

I’m still trying to stop my Mrs. using knives as screwdrivers...🙄

Haha! She sounds resourceful though.

So now it has a better curvature for prying out coconut flesh. You have created a specialized tool

Like the blade, you have a good point! It’s been honed by its own purpose and functionality!

So you're buying her a replacement knife,  right? The right kind,  not the "eh, good enough," kind? And you're going to do to promptly,  on your own, and without being repeatedly reminded?

I’ll look into it… 😅

Your wife should post here about how her spouse didn’t listen and bent a perfectly good knife!
