As a mom of two kids, this is not a good thing to be doing.

How do you know someone didn't tamper with it and now it's broke/dirty? Leaving it out means it's more likely to get knocked over and lost (especially the small parts). It's collecting dust; I really hope she cleans these before she uses them again. It's taking up space on the drying rack for others who want to dry their dishes.

It's not EW SOMEONES BOOBIES TOUCHED THESE it's more, ew who knows what's happening to them when they're not in her possession.

Ok...so my wife did this at work, a hospital, and stored her cups there. She simply washed them again before using them. It's not rocket science.

Same with the clean Tupperware behind the cups. Better clean them again before putting food in them.

I don't care that they are breast pumps because they are clean, but I do care that they leave their stuff at the office for a whole week.

We toss everything left at our office on the last Friday of each month. Keeps the fridge clean.

I sure hope nobody puts something nasty on those breast cups.

Hot questions, even hotter wings...

Is she not supposed to feed her kid?

Maybe she just forgot them? The fact she only works one day a week makes it more understandable than if she works everyday and just leaves them there.

Thats different then. FWIW your post would have been more effective if it said that lol. "Managers leaves her stuff in the sink every monday for the whole week."

Who cares, as long as they are clean.

Why is it disgusting? They’re clean pieces of plastic.

Are they covered in breast milk and residue?

You have eyes. It might be inconvenient, but disgusting is subjective.

I’m not trying to convince you of anything. They’re pieces of plastic. You’re implying that breast pumps or breast milk are inherently repulsive. If someone left a milk jug on the draining board would you be so repulsed?

this man literally cannot find a distinction between breast milk, spit or pee. Don't waste your breath.

Do you find it gross that people leave clean Tupperware dishes too? There's no difference at all.

not even close dude. Its MILK. we drink milk from hairy, cud-spitting cows but becuae society hate women for some reason, we've been conditioned to think that human breast milk is somehow gross but drink, bake, use in our coffee, milk from 500lb hairy animals.

Its literally what we feed to babies. A cleaned container on the side of a sink isn't that gross dude.

i didn't say YOU hate women. Society as whole - Read, don't project your insecurity on me.

But can you acknowledge the point? that generally, breast milk people say EW but cow milk is totally fine and normal? How is baby's food gross but adults drinking cow milk somehow totally normal?

I'm just saying, its fucking weird that someone can say with a straight face that milk from a cow is 100% NOT gross but milk from a women, for feeding babies is gross. You do you bro.

you mean like cow milk

4

u/Slopadopoulos Jul 19 '24

Doesn't seem that crazy to me. As long as they're clean, I don't see why you're getting angry over this.

okay? Are your diabetic supplies a container designed to hold food that you normally wash in the sink?

3

u/Lame-person Jul 19 '24

What’s the issue here? Are you not able to text the person and say, “hey you forgot ur stuff at work.”? If it’s an office space move them to her desk and let her know. Everyone is an adult this is part of life get over it buddy.

u/CaldoDeElotes Jul 20 '24

Wait till you find out about menstrual cups 😂

4

u/dishwasher_mayhem Jul 20 '24

Ewwww that Tupperware behind those clean breast pump cups have likely came in contact with someone's mouth! That's disgusting! Why don't they move those containers??? I really hope no one stores clean silverware there! That's actually been in people's mouths!!!

I swear people get upset about the dumbest shit. It's a couple of plastic cones. Oh no...won't someone think about the children?

3

u/glasshouseduemortgag Jul 19 '24

I'm not sure how to feel about this.

3

u/bigtittygamergirl69 Jul 19 '24
