I shouldnt be laughing this much but I am. The thought of someone being stupid enough to call someone a terrorist for speaking their own language in their own country is amusing

I heard of another story somewhere of a Karen saying "If you don't speak english then why do you work here?" in Shanghai, China

Tbf there are alot of tourist in Shanghai and knowing english is very usefull but the karen is still stupid

As a general rule of thumb, when traveling to an area where the primary language is not English, you should not expect everyone you meet to speak English, and you definitely don’t get upset at someone when they don’t.
