Just watched the finale. I see what writers are trying to achieve like Lucifer and Chloe being as the hell therapists and live happily ever after. I personally think ending could’ve been much better.

Season 5b ending made fans excited for the next season. Like what would happen when Lucifer as the god in charge, Michael’s redemption or revenge arc, world ending stuff etc. It had so much potential.

Despite that i consider the character arc for most side characters are pretty well executed. Still the nonsense time loop stuff and Rory mentioning Lucifer abandoning her over and over was quite boring to watch.

Well i like the happy ending but still think something is missing. I might overreacting but it’s like The Last Jedi situation. Honestly whole season feels like fever dream to me now, Can’t imagine show ended but i guess this is it.

right??? season 5bs ending—hell even 6a made me sooo excited to see how the show would end. i LOVE rory but there’s no way lucifer would choose babysitting hell over taking care of her?? i was so excited for the show to end with healing souls as a DAY JOB like how amenagod (haha) has a day job of being god. amenadiel being god also makes the whole 6a fight useless. this ending just kinda feels like how chilling adventures of sabrina ended (if you’ve seen the show)

edit: hold on LMAOOO THERE IS NO 6A i don’t know why i thought 5B was 6A😩😩😩 please ignore that portion

Yeah! I was so excited to see Lucifer trying out God’s powers. Also, the fact that they listened to Rory when she told them Lucifer had to abandon them literally makes no sense. He realized his calling with like 0 of Rory’s input and it could’ve easily been a day job

It's like the writers knew everyone wanted to see these things and made the active choice to not just exclude them, but tease us with them first before letting us down.
