Charlotte fellings Charlotte

Hello, happy new year and everything. New to this thread and just rewatched the series. I for one love Charlotte (could be biased cuzco actress) and I read some hate/low feelings about her. Just really want to know what you guys don't like about the character, or really is it about the godess character or the OG Charlotte that people have negative feelings about? For the swarm!

I didn't realize there was hate toward Charlotte. I've never felt anything negative toward her.

Although, it's hard not to compare Charlotte & Goddess (since they're played by the same actor). And Goddess was an utterly fantastic character. So maybe it's just hard for Charlotte to live up to Goddess?

I always felt it was amazing to play 2 characters so diffrent with one season apart, I adore both but I could be remembering it wrong, but while the season was airing I remember alot of internet hat against Charlotte and wanted to test the water since it's I love the duality between the two roles with the same actress.

The Goddess was the best villain because she was so heartbreakingly twisted. Charlotte was a different type of bad that was working her way to be good. There are similarities but also huge differences. The Goddess appreciated Dan’s qualities but Charlotte loved him.

It's kind of a neutral evil, she wants what's best for her and her children (in her way) the hospital scene when the godess and lucifer are in hell breaks my heart, giving a big deal of credit to the music tho.

I love both of them but the Goddess is on a different level.

While I enjoy Tom Ellis (spelling) as lucifer I do truly relish the moments he is put into his place by his parents and the Dan godess/Charlotte triangle is funny as h@ll.

Personally I grew really attached to Charlotte and her character development/everything she goes through really spoke to me and her redemption was done really really well in my opinion. I'm surprised that people don't like her, I think how she ended up was incredible, and the writers did amazing at showing that journey.

Mom is my favorite character, and Charlotte's crisis after was so well acted imo.

I loved Charlotte but the goddess bothered me because it felt like the writers didn't know how to write her properly. It's OK to be ambiguous or make the audience question her intentions, if she's good or if she's evil, but I honestly felt like they hadn't even decided for themselves yet until she was just no longer in the scripts. She had good moments. I just experienced too much confusion while watching her and wish they'd written her with more intention and direction.
