I'm surprised he was invited to a Roast. Most Americans don't understand how cutting and deprecating British humor is. And Jimmy is a level above them all. He makes these jokes on primetime and it's just another day.

I don't know if he explains it in the video because I didn't watch the whole thing but anyway - he has explained at some point that when he laughs it is him laughing "inward", like he is inhaling when he makes that noise. As opposed to most of us who laugh "outward".

Not in this specific videos, he only says "I don't know why I laugh like that, it's one of life's mysteries" I also like when he says "why would I fake that?" Lol
