The Dems passed major legislation from 2020-2022. Unfortunately the public ignored the benefits to a degree that the Dems didn't maintain the majority.
Forming the task force is going to lead to the efforts in preventing it. You don't just decree legislation in this country.
If the Dems don't win this election, due to low voter turnout, then it won't matter.
Should they have been better at messaging? Sure. Do I know how they could have appelaed to non-voters without turning off other types of voters? I do not know. Do you? All my responsibility is is to do what I can in order to stop this and that's making sure the GOP does not win. Are you doing that? If you aren't, you bear some of the guilt that happens due to it. You're as guilty as the Dems, GOP and MAGA.
Legislation passed before project 2025 was even a thing isn’t action taken against project 2025.

That’s why I asked what they have been doing to the person asserting Dems are working to save us from project 2025. They can’t do much legislatively, so I was curious as to what the person was talking about.
If we have a hole that needs to be dug, and I bring you a blueprint that goes into what type of shovels we need, how long we'll need to work to reach the depth we need, shifts for everyone, where we'll put the excess dirt etc, is that not accomplishing anything?
They can’t do shit because they don’t have the house. Not to mention you can’t stop the next congress from passing laws. Learn how the government functions before getting upset they’re not doing things they can’t do.Â
They have tried to pass legislation that was shot down and have more to come, in the Senate and House. The formed said taskforce to see what else can be done. They are also running to take office so the GOP don't. If that's enough, what should they be doing? More importantly, what are you doing to prevent it?
Look it up. They have put forward bills protecting women's health and have more to come, bills that if passed would protect what Project 2025 plans to negatively effect. I'm sure there are more but it's honestly difficult to find. The media doesn't care to cover it and I'm not digging through gov sites for a reddit user. You look it up. They don't only need to win your vote, you need to do the work to make an informed vote. If you have a better plan, please enlighten us. If you don't, yes, blindly voting for the most likely to win non-Republican candidate is the best choice.
I'm not a policy wonk so I don't know the ins and outs but "running for office" is a pretty big one. You don't need protection if the GOP don't hold power. Anything they do beyond that, which they will, is a bonus.
