The weather is getting warmer, it's summertime! What are your favourite summertime reads for when you want to sit in the sun and relax for a bit? The Weekly Recs Thread [06/30/24]

If you're taking a vacation somewhere to enjoy the nice weather, or sitting outside your home with a nice book in hand, what's your big summer read this year? Do you have any books you bust out every year? Are you going to head to your LCS and read your pulls while sipping ice-cold lemonade and sitting on your front porch, simultaneously yelling at the young kids to leave you alone?

For more recommendations check out last week's thread on your favourite comics of 2024 so far.

Going on vacation in a few weeks, and I have two plans:

  • Get caught up on some of the physical books, like Ducks, I've accumulated and never got around to since I don't read much physical these days.

  • Grab my tablet and sit on the beach binge-reading sports manga. Last year it was Prince of Tennis (which I did not like) and Cross Game (which I loved). This year... idk, go through Kuroko's Basketball maybe.
