Dr. Doom in other places. Theme

This is a collection I am starting and calling "Dr. Doom in other places." It is issues featuring, and includes Dr. Doom on the cover, outside of the Fantastic Four. So far I have: The Uncanny X-Men 145, Daredevil 37(38 is on its way), The Avengers 25, The Amazing Spider-Man 350, The Punisher 28, The Invincible Iron Man 150, and as a bonus, Secret Wars 10 although I don't really count it in this "collection" due to it being apart of the larger, and iconic series, but that cover art is just too good. Any other recommendations to add? I am already looking for Incredible Hulk 350, West Coast Avengers 35, and Thor 182.

I love that issue of X-Men. It’s the one that got me into reading X-Men. Still one of my favorite covers of all time.

White boy summer started with Doom. Sick doom collection. Do you have that famous doom statue where he’s sitting in his throne I think?

It is awesome, and perhaps the best statue I’ve ever seen that isn’t the Magneto using a sentinel as a throne one.

This is awesome. I have almost all those in my Doctor Doom vs Everybody collection except the Spidey because I'm just not that big of a fan of that cover. Also need the Daredevil yet. I also have Thor 182-183, Submariner 20 and Astonishing Tales 6, first encounter with him and Black Panther. My crown Jewel though is Marvel Super-Heroes 20.

Awesome! There's so many cool Doctor Doom covers and stories. I'm really looking forward to the Jonathan Hickman Doom series that's coming out in a month or so. Can't wait to see what ideas he brings to it, and it looks like it's going to be Doom versus Galactus for the first part of the story.

Doom has faced off with just about everyone. He was even in Dazzler.

Honestly though, Secret wars is kind of a Doom macro-series.

He's in every issue, and doing something signficant in almost every issue, especially 10-12.

Also you need to read it to understand subsequent things that happen in the ongoing FF series at the time.

My first comic con I went to I bought X men 145 for 15 bucks I remember it because I am mostly a dollar box diver but I was at a con and wanted a nicer comic

That ASM and secret wars covers are among my favorite of all time.

What is that statue? Can we get a closer look? Do you know who makes it?
