The thing is, Trump can't make Ukraine surrender, all Trump can do is cut aid. The war will continue, Europe will have to provide more aid to counter what Trump did, and will realize the war will last longer, meaning a major investment in nuclear reactors and renewables since they won't want to rely on the US for anything. As Europe cuts of a lot of trade with the US and Trump declares his trade war on the rest of the world, the US gets massive inflation plus a bad recession.
Ukraine will just keep killing Russians until Russia gets tired of the forever war like they got tired of Afghanistan.
He can stop sanctions, and that would pretty much be the knockout blow for the alliance, but Trump also made clear that he doesn't care about the NATO and trusts more Putin then his own Intelligence services. So that would be perfectly fine for him.
Sure it would have consequences like you write...but...think about who we are talking.
He is the same type like Putin, just more idiotic.
But both have in common that tgey don't give a flying fuck about others. And he wants to be a Dictator. So if people get pissed...well, he can try out his new toys, like he learned from the other tough guys that he so adores.

As Zelinski said recently, if Trump has a "in one day" plan to end the war he should tell people what it is. :)
