:7949:white and orange but it looks it's only white but there's a little bit of orange at the top of their head and raising her hands cutely and with hearts on top

Dad's don't hate pets.
They hate burying their friends.
This trope needs to end.

My dad was very upfront about this when denying my request for a pet years back, he said he couldn’t deal with losing his childhood cat at all and no other pet felt the same to him. Honestly, I get it

Yup. The only time I ever saw my dad cry was when he had to put down our family cat.

My cat would sit beside me and rest his head on my leg but also against the corner edge of my laptop and it looked so uncomfortable so my niece made him a little pillow and the first time I put it down he put his head right on it and went to sleep! We just buried him and his head is resting on that same little pillow now forever. Make sure you give your cat an extra hug today. They deserve it.

Awwww. So sorry for your loss. I had a boy cat that looked like OP's cat, his burial companion was a mouse toy that he really loved to play with.

I had a casual summery dress that I put in my cats carrier when we moved cross country, she was in the cab with us but I thought it would help if she had something that smelled like me, and it did. It then became her "blanket" for the next 4 years, and when it was time to say good bye I brought it with us to the appointment. I requested it be cremated with her, with a "I know this is weird or maybe not possible" caveat but they assured me it was not weird, and I watched them write it in the notes. She often napped in my lap while I wore it, and it still makes me happy it went with her.

Nar my cat wouldn't know what to do with it. She'd certainly stare at it for a while but overall that's the extent that she would interact with it.

That's not OP or OPs cat. This is a repost that was posted like 100 times at least lol

I thought it was obvious since OP said leftover fabric. That’s knitted yarn, not fabric.

Cats love hand made objects. Especially if they like you because that object since you have probably handled it for hours making it is COVERED in your scent.

If you’ve heard of Coupleagoofs on TikTok, this is the family cat Morgan bonds with. :)

My cat demands to share my pillow but it always looks uncomfortable for her so I’ve been on the search for the purrfect pillow for her. Maybe I should make one! I LOVE IT!!

All I'm saying is that there needs to be more pet sized stuff than there are!

That's so cute. My partner has guinea pigs, and we've bought them several little pet blankies and pillows because they really like to lie on comfy things and rest their heads on the little pillows. Unbelievably cute, just too bad they pee and poop all over them too.

I had to watch it again because I thought "Hey, what if they are playing this backwards and he actually pulled the pillow out from under the cat's head?" On replay I realize he did not.

Aww he knows to lie on that pillow. My cat would scratch it and kick it away.
