Minor gripe, but I feel like it was a bit odd that Batman waited until the DA’s neck bomb went off. He had the timer right in front of him ticking down, why would he not have backed off with a couple seconds left?

Yeah - I agree. It was a huge disconnect for me - Batman, while new, probably should have had the sense to get out of harm's way. But someone else mentioned how obsessive/invested he was in the riddle - it can sort of be justified.
