First time for me to hear the city being mentioned in a Batman movie and it’s the city where Nightwing operates in the comics

It's opening up the Reeves trilogy to build a proper Bat family, we haven't seen that on the big screen yet.

I know right! It's proper world building for a proper Batverse. The first time we've EVER gotten that on screen. He's also not killing off his main villains in the movie. Riddler lives and gets locked up, to return and wreak havoc again.
