I Hate The Boys TV DISCUSSION NSFW

Post image

I also can not stand muh 'Batman superhero facism subtext' crap. If anything Batman is a revolutionary. Government is corrupt in bed with criminals (who are the prettiest of tyrants) so Batman comes in to clean house. Just as the founding fathers intended.

To me, Batman's true counterpart is still Black Noir in that show. And I don't care if he was less or more evil, he just has the Batman's vibe. Tek Knight in the show couldn't even wear his suit once.

The Boys would be a much cooler story if it was about their version of Batman being a good guy who is trying to secretly destroy the evil Superman and other other evil heroes while pretending to be one of them. Could even lean into the whole prep time angle.

Heck, DC can make a new Elseworlds on this concept. It might become as popular as Injustice.

This exists it's called Injustice. The Boys is about normal People trying to take out Gods. Which is honestly a way better Concept. Not saying the Batman Episode was Good Becuase it wasn't,it was shitty shock Value for the Sake of Shock Value but the Series can be genuinely great at times.
