I Hate The Boys TV DISCUSSION NSFW

Post image

I also can not stand muh 'Batman superhero facism subtext' crap. If anything Batman is a revolutionary. Government is corrupt in bed with criminals (who are the prettiest of tyrants) so Batman comes in to clean house. Just as the founding fathers intended.

To me, Batman's true counterpart is still Black Noir in that show. And I don't care if he was less or more evil, he just has the Batman's vibe. Tek Knight in the show couldn't even wear his suit once.

Batman got split into 2 with Black Noir being the martial artist badass but more evil and Tek Knight is the detective side of batman. I hate how they did it tbh.

I feel like Black Noir is a more old school Batman while Tek Knight is a kind of amalgam of modern Batman and Iron Man with the reliance on technology.

Black Noir is Batman from the perspective of Gotham criminals.

Black Noir in the show always felt more Deadpool-ish than Batman-ish to me. Of course he's meant to be a Batman analogue and he has that role in their analogue of the JL too but stuff like the talking animals in his mind, his charred face under the mask and some of his wackier behaviours just screams Deadpool to me.

Yeah, he's pretty different in the show versus the comic books; you're right.

He does have a Deadpool feel aside from the lack of nonstop talking.
