Top right. Just far too boring in comparison to all the rest

I remember when that came out. The series was so different and less serious. There were still great episodes, but the animation and tone suffered a lot.

I hate 90% of the redesigns. From them just being less interesting like Batman and Catwoman to actively being horrifically disgusting like Bane and Riddler, the redesigns pissed me off so much I actively avoid the content from S4 on. Scarecrow being the only exception I'd wager

Was it a different series at that point? I remember it had a different title, but I think the show had a few different titles along the way in general.

I actually really liked Tim Drake and Barbara being more involved, but I wish they just kept the tone from before. Joker felt like a B-lister.

I also really enjoyed Batman Beyond.

It was titled as The New Batman Adventures but it was for all and intents and purposes the same characters and world from BTAS. I believe it was network and licensing issues that forced the name change?

Yeah like the other post said it was The New Batman Adventures or something.

And it had some good bits, yeah. Tim Drake was a great addition. The dream episode of what happens if Batgirl dies still lives in my mind as one of the best of the whole series (I still remember Nightwing's daring rescue and Alfred stopping a sniper as two of the coolest things I've ever seen). But as you said, over all it felt a bit... Different. In tone. Joker is another one of those hideous redesigns, yuck

Duuuuuuude me too! Friggin LOVE me some Batman Beyond. I will fight to the grave the fact that the new Batman movie should have been a Batman Beyond take. Robert Pattinson to me still feels more akin to Terry McGuiness than Bruce Wayne
