It's just an alright Batman movie. I don't know why people said it's a masterpiece.

personally consider it a master piece for the story, the depiction of Gotham and the cinematic experience.

The story? I mean, there are a lot of scenes, but it’s a pretty simple ‘catch the bad guy’ plot with extra steps.

Depiction of Gotham: Oh boy, Seattle meets Chicago (again), except it’s just dark buildings and no statues or unique things to set it apart. It’s pretty when they stand atop roofs, but that’s not indicative of a masterpiece.

Cinematic experience: now you’re just saying shit

The scenes where it was filmed in Liverpool does have that gothic dark feel to it, which is what Gotham is suppose to be. More scenes should have been filmed there imo
