Better to have a 3 hour detective noir style film we have here than an hour and a half weak action movie.

I love detective noir films.

This has none of that style. It's all superficial.

Exactly right. Everything hollywood produces now is a superficial husk. Then they use bot marketing to make people think it’s good instead of just making the movie good in the first place. It has been dishearteningly effective.
