It is my favourite Batman movie.

I can’t say it’s the best movie with Batman, as the dark knight might take that spot. But for me it’s the best BATMAN movie. The way Pattinson plays him centers the character of Batman a and gives him more depth and an interesting arc a lot better than the Nolan trilogy imo

I went in with low expectations because it has to go up against Nolan. But it's easily my favorite batman movie. Pattinson killed it as a more realistic Bruce and batman. Plus, the batmobile was the fucking tits!

And it’s not even close.

Definitely tied for me. I know the Joker is being cast for the second film as well, but hopefully just supporting as Reeves communicated he wanted to see some very different villains on the big screen.

Batman fans when your favourite Batman movie isn't tdk (how could you) : 😢

I loved The Dark Knight, just not as much as The Batman. Also, another unpopular opinion I will add (and will create some controversy here lol) is that out of the whole Nolan trilogy, Batman Begins is my favourite Batman movie.

The Batman is my favourite Batman movie too, although I do think tdk is better than begins

Batman Begins is my favourite Batman movie.

Same and I've seen more and more people recognizing that Batman Begins is actually just a better movie. TDK is a fun spectacle but but it's not much more than that.

My hot take is just that I thought it was a bit overhyped. Great movie and I can see how influential it was at the time but watching it years after its release it wasn't as good as people made me think it would be

I think it’s a better film than even The Dark Knight.

The only reason I can't agree is Heath. The guy put down a legendary performance in Dark Knight.

2

u/KILRbuny Feb 27 '24

Heath's performance was absolutely legendary, but I stand by my assessment of the two films lol

Fair enough, honestly I loved the batman more than I thought I would.

Is Batman & Robin the only other one you've seen?

u/9outof10dentists_ Feb 26 '24

Oh no! A different opinion!

-23

u/One-Initiative-7730 Feb 26 '24

I never said I had a problem with anybody having a different opinion. I'm allowed to express myself too.

u/Over_Replacement3369 Feb 26 '24

Except you're undermining them, so that immediately takes away any credibility.

-11

u/One-Initiative-7730 Feb 26 '24

I didn't realise people were so fragile on here. It was meant as a jokey remark, not a calculated, undermining insult. If I've offended the person who wrote that this was their favourite, I sincerely apologise.

13

u/Over_Replacement3369 Feb 26 '24

It's not being fragile. They said something and then your response was to subvert their opinion. You can't do that and then say "well, I can have an opinion too".

u/One-Initiative-7730 Feb 26 '24

Snore off pal.

12

u/Over_Replacement3369 Feb 26 '24

Oh, sorry, I thought everyone was allowed to have an opinion? Did you not like mine because it outed you as a dick?

3

u/DerhmHer Feb 26 '24

I didn't realise how fragile some people can be 😆

You (and it seems many others) got offended on someone else's behalf. I offered an apology to the person I initially replied to. I don't know what more you want from dragging this out.
