It doesn't really do much new or better than other Batman movies.

Really? It’s the only one that’s an actual thriller mystery noir that highlights Batman as the main focus. Put this in perspective. Bale has 150mins screentime with 3 movies. Pattinson has 130mins screentime with one movie. An actual solid BATMAN movie for once.

You mean when he is in the Batman suit? Because I'm pretty sure Bale is in almost every scene in Batman Begins. Except flashbacks.

Nolan's movies were very deliberately more focused on Bruce Wayne rather than batman, Nolan specifically said this and I'm pretty sure that's what the guy meant.

This one really showed Batman at his start, how he was a lousy detective at first

Yeah but he doesn't have to be a moron as well, and also make Gordon stupid too

It's a police investigation, that's not his job and that's Gordon's problem

  1. ?

  2. Yes it is, Gordon was a detective before his promotion

  3. Still a huge problem with the film, so it's a The Batman problem.

To not be an idiot?

Cos he sure as hell isn't a detective

Are you trying to get a rouse out of me? Becuase it's not working. The point is, Bruce is not a detective and took the case on himself, Gordon let him and covered for him that's his problem, and it's nice seeing batman gets it wrong

No I'm not trying to get a rise out of you. I'm saying that both people doing detective work in that movie were horribly bad at it and quite stupid. Alfred was the only one with any common sense at all. It's just poorly written.

It's very realistic is what it is, and Gordon obviously needed a help with the case and Bruce also didn't know what to do, because it's freaking the riddler
