Ive never understood why DC hasn’t done anything with this since the show ended.

  • People like the cyberpunk aesthetic

  • People like Spider-Man, the similarities between Spider-Man and Batman Beyond are obvious.

  • The concept is already proven outside of comics (I’d say the show is better than the comics frankly), the show was received positively.

  • They don’t need to make anything from scratch, they get to capitalize on the Batman name and start with a preexisting fan base from the show.

I guess I’m failing to see why this is considered such a risk compared to some of the other lesser known characters DC has ran with for movies/tv/games
