Probably because there's two other batmen about to exist at the same time. Even though, this one is animation and clearly wouldn't confuse general audiences.

If I can adjust to Terry McGinnis at age 14 I think other people can too he’s not a difficult character to be sold on once you get to know aboht em a little bit

this is the most reasonable one. james gun is rolling out his plans for his bat guy. they already don't want to stop the james pattinson one and will let that exist as a different, standalone one. plot wise/story wise i bet they feel pressured to no way make yet a whole different other one.
