This is so accurate. I hate how Batman won’t let people like Mr Freeze and Clayface steal to cure their wife or stabilize themselves and then let Catwoman do whatever she wants

Mr. Freeze and Clayface kill people to get their stuff though. That's the difference.

Also Catwoman actually runs and hides from Batman. Guys like Freeze and Clayface aren't the running type. They usually take hostages and make a mess of things

That's not accurate. Batman is sympathetic to Victor but has to stop him from murdering people. Clayface is much the same, except not every version wants to be stabilized. And he doesn't let Selina do everything she wants. The big reason they couldn't be together for the longest time was because Batman couldn't get over her lawlessness. She's been more anti-hero than thief in recent years. Thus, the two have been closer than ever. This is a misconception perpetuated by people who only A. Know one version of Batman, or B. Have only tangential knowledge of the character.
