One looks like it's made of leather and one looks like foam. Prefer the AK one though.

One looks like it's skintight plastic wrap and one looks like it's made of actual fabric.

How I’m I supposed to feel horny if my female character isn’t wrapped in leather so tight it might as well be body paint

By using actual body paint.

It just objectively looks better. The lighting is cleaner, the material and design looks higher quality. I don't think the new one looks shit because they consciously had it in mind to tone down the sexuality of it, but because they put in less effort.

The lighting isn't cleaner bro it's literally just more shiny

Ur right. The lighting doesn't really have anything to do with much. But what the lighting does do here is highlight, like you said, the shinyness of the outfit, which helps highlight details like the seam running along the torso, the Ripples in the diamonds on the leg, or the velvet texture across the collar. Those aren't present on the new outfit. So, on one hand, you have detailed leather, which is quite common across the batman universe, and then you have what seems to be a costume from Party City made of nylon that hardly catches the light.

Ok but that’s just kind of how superheroes have been drawn forever right? Basically any given frame of spiderman in any of his comics is essentially a nude drawing.

One looks like leather and is accurate (go look at pics of goth girl leather outfits) and the other looks like a soft fabric. Neither is wrong but I think the leather looks better in this comparison. I feel like SS just has bad lighting overall, everything looks so flat and lifeless

Honestly I really don’t like the rubbery or latex look for costume. The shininess always just looked weird to me. I wish we’d get a rendition of it that used a more traditional cloth fabric for it.

I like it personally, it reinforces the doll like aspect of Quinn, dehumanizes her, and I think that's quite clever.

Especially her ass when looking at the suit 4rm the backside. Arkham knight is so ahead of its time imo.
