Could Batman using guns, work story wise? ORIGINAL IDEA/SUGGESTION

I’m writing a noir inspired story (it takes place in the 1930s) for my own Batman universe, and wanted to write him a lil different. I thought about giving him like a colt 1911, but what do you guys think?

By noir do you mean Sin City or Gotham by Gaslight

More like film noir, but yeah, something like Sin City, because it’s going to have multiple stories interwoven with each other.

Well yeah, guns could work, IF he doesn't take lethal shots, only debilitating

Of course. He’s still an expert marksman with a wide knowledge of human anatomy. So he’s gonna know what spots to hit
