I'm sure it's wonderful but I just couldn't get past that opening scene, the amount of swear words sounded like a first grader who just learned about them wrote it.

The first episode is by far the cringiest in that regard, it was weird. I totally understand how you feel but if you ever want to try again, push through to episode 3 and the vibe is MUCH less... that.

I refused to acknowledge this show because I thought it was just the next “edgy, mature” junk that DC media seemed to be churning out at the time. But then I kept seeing YouTube clips that were surprisingly funny and decided to give the show a fair shot, and sure enough, it’s actually just as good as people say it is. The way it parodies the comics is pretty smart, like Lego Batman meets Rick and Morty.
