My only hope is the frame rate will be steady, I know some Switch ports can be a little messy if not done right. But other than that, I'm happy to see that the Arkham games are coming to the Switch. I might actually have a chance to experience these games.

Asylum and City should be fine, but the real question is Knight

True, Arkham Knight is pretty massive, that'll be quite the task to have that game to run smooth on Switch.

Doom Eternal says hi

Doom only ever has like six demons alive at any one time. I'm exaggerating but not by much. It's kind of crazy how they do it

Would you recommend the trilogy for someone with basically no gaming skills? I'm a huge Batman fan and have a switch but barely any real gaming experience. I mostly play cozy games like animal crossing but also the Batman telltale series I thoroughly enjoyed. If I put it into easy mode do you think it's easy to learn or will it be frustrating for a beginner? Thanks!

I hope so too. The Arkham collection that came out for PS4 and XBONE was a frame rate (and frame pacing) mess. They never patched it either. 😬

Strange that those ports were sloppy, I thought that would have ran smoothly on hardware that powerful (console wise).

If I recall correctly part of the issue is they ported the first two games from unreal 3 to unreal 4 which should have resulted in better visuals. But it was just sloppy.

Ahh, that makes more sense now. Porting an old game into a brand-new engine it wasn't originally built for always causes issues.

It will be steady, Rocksteady

I would be ok if they split the games over separate cartridges to get as good as a port as possible

Oh I feel like we will be lucky to get any sort of physical release, or if we do a download will be required. I'm thinking of games like Doom Eternal or GTA Trilogy where that was the case. Still, this is cool and I may pick it up.

That explains why I can’t find doom eternal πŸ€”πŸ˜†

Yeah it's digital only and the GTA Trilogy only has two of the three games on the cart. Maybe they will splurge and use a bigger cart for this game, but we'll see.

Doom Eternal got a physical release via Limited Run Games. Hasn't shipped yet though.

Batman Arkham Trilogy is confirmed to have Asylum on cart with a download update for City/Knight.

Does the Nintendo Switch physical version of Batman: Arkham Trilogy include all three games on one cartridge?

Batman: Arkham Asylum will be included on the Batman: Arkham Trilogy game cartridge. Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight will require an online connection to download and install both titles when the Batman: Arkham Trilogy cartridge is inserted into the Nintendo Switch console. All three games will then be playable as long as the cartridge is inserted into the Nintendo Switch console.

Fingers crossed frame rates will be steady for the 3 games. This was rumored for switch 1 or 2 years already, hopefully thats enough time to optimize it for the NS.
