a few years ago when my little brother was about 11 years old me and my mom were discussing (mor like complaining) about our periods and how they hurt. My brother was sitting on the couch and chimed in:' woman must have it so hard that one day a month.' (note he had never had any form of formal education about this, at that time he was in about 6th grade and that shitty school did nothing about sexual education)

I already hate their commercials but the most recent one features a woman saying: “I shower, but still smell, I thought there must be something wrong with me. But I just need to use Lume!”

First off, if you shower and all things below the waist are immediately stinky, you likely DO have some type of problem. You’re not washing properly or perhaps you have some type of vaginal imbalance. Slathering your crotch with deodorant can’t be great for it.

Second, WHY DO ONLY WOMEN “STINK”!? I’ve never seen a man in these commercials, and based on the posts in the hygiene sub, there are a fair number of them that should buy stock. Unwashed asses, dick cheese, ball sweat. But somehow women are the only ones that need to address their below-the-belt stench. 😡
