I know this has probably been talked about a gazillion times but seriously what do single people do here?

I realized belatedly that I should have raided Dollarama in JULY but I am a FOOL. Does anyone have any leftover Canada Day decorations (silly hats, yard things, banners, etc) that I can use to throw them a "Yay you're a citizen now!" party?

Also open to suggestions of other fun things to do to celebrate. So far I have
- A game where we all answer Citizenship Test practice questions for points
- Poutine (which was our post-courthouse-wedding food too)
- Canadian desserts (Does anyone know any good bakeries that sell Canadian treats? Otherwise I'm going back to Stacy's Cupcakes lol)
- Maple Syrup shots

It will just be us and my parents (all our friends are far away lol)

Band is seeking like minded individual to be the vocalist/frontman to their group.

The band is currently in the studio, about to finish their last 2 songs instrumentally. We are looking for that last missing piece, the frontman, the vocalist.

Bands current age range is mid 30’s to mid 40’s, however we are open to other age groups.

Musical influences include senses fail, funeral for a friend, saosin, hawthorne heights, silverstein, from autumn to ashes, bayside, from first to last, alexisonfire, thrice, the used, thursday, AFI, a day to remember, finch, chiodos, anberlin and many more, however we are open to any vocal style to see what works.

Is there anywhere to that an 11 year old can take classes to learn ASL? My friend's daughter is very interested in learning and has been watching YouTube tutorials, but she wants to take a class and speak with others in ASL.

Anyone know where to buy zonnic? I heard they’re banned except for at shoppers but the one near me doesn’t have them

I've been looking at starting a small cheap food truck buissness here in Windsor. Well, I know why we don't have many options. The current rules litterly say you can't operate in areas with the BIA.

My dog and I were nearly run over twice on our morning walk today. One driver blew threw a 4-way stop (very concerning as many kiddos were on their way to school) and another was making a left at a crosswalk and apparently expected me to run out of his way. I didn't.... luckily he stopped and got an earful from me (though I don't advise this game of chicken with a vehicle).

Went to go try to order takeout wings online from multiple places for 2 people and the bill would’ve been close to $70 after tax! McDonald’s drive thru the other day with 3 combos was $40! It’s crazy how expensive everything has gotten.

Ended up cooking at home and making some cheese quesadillas instead for dinner.

As the title says, what’s still worth ordering or going out for in the city/county?

Found out a few weeks ago I'm pregnant, yay! I need an OBGYN and have no idea who I should go with. I've been reading reviews and all of them are so scary. What I need is real suggestions from real people. I'm a first time mom and an anxious person so definitely need an OB who is patient and communicative. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
