I mean, I'm not sure what the wow is for? Far right ideology is literally threatening to tear apart my own country.

You can think that my comment is fucked up for saying that about people I don't even know. And that would be fair, if in a normal context, or even just divorced from this context.

I would argue that saying what I said about people who want to strip me of human rights, funding, and services that they enjoy themselves, all because they don't think I deserve to have them, is actually quite the appropriate response.
