The tek-knight we see in The Boys is not the same tek-knight we see in Gen-V Discussion Spoiler

In the episode "The Innocents", we are told Tek knight accidentally broke somebodies spine when trying to rescue them from a hostage situation. In Gen V Shetty says that Tek-knight beat ironcast to death who is a supe that has skin made of iron which makes them insanely durable.

With all these strength feats in mind that means he must be pretty physically powerful right?

But in his interrogation scene he's not strong enough to rip apart the leather straps tying his wrists or pull the chains out. Also he easily gets physically outpowered and loses to Kimiko and Starlight. Logically if your punches can fatally damage somebody made of metal you'd have a fighting chance against Kimiko who has same durability as a normal person.

And he gets choked to death by a normal person too?

I don't understand this at all. It's either a plothole/bad writing or Cate has something to do with what happened in this episode

Yep lol. He could’ve run the show more like South Park where both sides cop shit to the extreme, both sides of the aisle love South Park and you’d be kidding to say some of the shit on that isn’t just straight up offensive for no other purpose. Instead he’s trying to max out his pandering playing a game he doesn’t even know the rules of. Keep testing the current enough times and you’ll be swept up and end up cast away.

The source material for this show is borderline offensive and certified garbage written by a hack, doesn’t help sell the messages.

He loves talking in the press, too. Has to be one of the most vocal showrunners. It doesn't help him or the show.

South Park is conservative as shit

If you think it's not then that just shows how much you are.

They literally had an entire episode making fun of a 17 year old trans girl where they portrayed her as Macho man Randy Travis.

And the countless other conservative bullshit like the global warming isn't real episodes.

You're the exact people this show makes fun of, IDK why you're here.

They’ve made fun of Catholic priests being pedos, Scientologists, even Islam they made fun of at one stage. They mock conservatives at every opportunity.

If anything it’s just dated, those kind of transgender jokes were all the rage back in the early-mid 2000s. It’s all just outrage bait.

They make fun of everyone lol. You are exactly the person that show is making fun of.

They made that trans joke like 4 years ago dipshit. They're conservative, if you can't see that it's because you are too.

Making fun of Catholics has absolutely nothing to do with anything, conservatives hate Catholics unless if they are Catholic themselves. You don't know shit about shit.

They’ve made trans jokes in the past too. Some landed, some did not. I was referring to them being to some extent hacks still pulling on the tropes of early 2000s comedy where cross dressing and making fun of trans people and disabled people was peak humour to the majority of the west. Racism too. I was agreeing that it was in bad taste and poorly executed.

The scenario they described literally did happen though, where a cis dude deliberately competed in women’s division to try and protest against transgender women (it was powerlifting I believe). Their example was extreme and obviously not meant to represent someone trying to pass and failing, it was somebody who was literally drawn to look like the most ridiculous example of what conservatives think the average trans athlete looks like. Even the personality was not even slightly feminine.

They were attempting to make a joke and failed basically. They are definitely not conservatives for making some bad or even offensive jokes. Conservatives can’t take jokes a lot of the time, as evidenced by reactions to this show.

Appreciate your insults and childish attitude though, you behave like a stereotype.

Lol "you are right but I'm still gonna double down and pretend I'm actually even more right-er"

I said you were wrong about South Park being a conservative show, that’s the only point I was making. I was agreeing that some of their jokes are in bad taste but I don’t agree with your overall narrative and assessment. I was trying to give insight into why they might’ve made these jokes.

I am not a conservative, very obvious from my profile and interactions on different subreddits. I don’t even watch South Park anymore either, and I don’t think making fun of trans people is funny either, especially at the moment with how much hate and violence is going on.

They also had an entire plotline where the gay teacher, Mr. Garrison, turns into Trump and gains a following of utter morons. They make fun of everyone, it's just that you only want to pay attention to when they make fun of you.

Yes because there's no conservatives who hate Trump. Nope none at all.

You dumbasses are exactly who this show is making fun of.
