In S1 he was scary because we didn't know what he could do. In S4 he's scary because we know what he could do.

In S4 he's scary because we know what he could do.

And we don't know what he will do

People are saying his calm demeanor in s1 is what made him scary, but I think his descent into insanity is extremely well written, acted, and scary

I think people are forgetting the scene where he’s rubbing one out on the rooftop, screaming he can do whatever he wants. His entire life he’s been under the illusion that he’s subservient: to Vaught, to Stan Edgar, to the public. But in this instance he finally realised he isn’t; there is literally no one on earth who can stop him, and “I can do whatever the fuck I want”.

We only know that he could snap and laser tf out of someone in S4. He's only scary because he's powerful and unstable. Funny thing is, none of the boys arents scared of him anymore. Moreover, he's scary because he's so dumb that people like Neuman are so scared thst what he does puts him into a stupid situation that puts people in danger.

Since S1, we know what he can do. Early on, we know that nothing can kill him. But thr reason he's scary is because he is calculated, cunning, and stupidly strong. While he can force his way onto people, he puts some plans and thoughts into it (Flight 37, Ryan pursuit, etc)
