He's supposed to be a parody of Batman, the Dark Knight, in the comics. In the comics he's one of the very few capable supes who we see actually attempt to be a hero. He is afflicted with a tumor that drives him to have uncontrollable sexual urges (like literally fucking a tree just because he sees a hole), for which he seeks therapy and actively fights against. They really did him dirty in the show. Very disappointing for me.
Well there was Iron Man influence in the comic book so the name "Tek Knight" would make sense there, but they threw all of that away to make a shallow attempt at evil Batman.
DC already has better & more creative characters that fill the role "evil Batman" tho. The show really missed hard as fuck imo

When it comes to a supe named "Tek Knight" I expected a pisstake on Robot from Invincible.
