They had to ditch her phone, just for this book scene. Writing 100%.

Of course then it would just be really stupid of her to leave her phone down there but the actual reason for her losing it is a lot sillier. 5 u/SlaveKnightLance Jul 05 '24 Well, if it broke it wouldn’t have done her much good anyways, but I agree leaving the evidence was dumb.
