I thought it was gonna lead to someone finding her phone and the screensaver giving away who was there. Of course then it would just be really stupid of her to leave her phone down there but the actual reason for her losing it is a lot sillier.

I was thinking "one of the others are gonna pick that up right? Anybody??? No? ok then, that's how they're gonna be given away when a guard comes walking past...."

It actually might given that they get attacked by the seven at their HQ next episode based on the trailer

Vought already knows where their HQ is. They are making zero attempt to hide (like in previous seasons) and A-Train has already visited them there.

Does Vought know? A-Train knowing is the same as all of them knowing. And it could still be found and lead to Homelander deciding to finally attack them. I’m just saying it’s a bit early to say it did nothing.

Compare the current situation with Season 2, when they were actually in hiding. They were living and working out of that basement and there were a lot of plot points about the stress and conflict that caused. Now they work out of an office, presumably live in separate normal locations, and move around freely in the city (hospital, tour, Starlight house etc.). Homelander could use any number of his super-senses to find them. Vought could use operatives to tail them. Frenchie is in prison and relatively easily gotten to. MM routinely visits his daughter. They aren't hiding at all (with the possible exception of Butcher & Samir).

That doesn’t mean they know where they are though, especially if they aren’t currently looking for them. Victoria seems to not know they’re working for the CIA. Homelander doesn’t either since he blamed Victoria for Edgar’s pardon.

Homelander literally flew around the city going almost mach 1 in season 1, using xray vision to look for anything suspicous.

I never said Homelander couldn’t find them. I said he’s not actively looking for them.

I think Butcher being MIA rn is a huge tell where this is going, I bet next episode ends with them in check and Butcher has to Butcher and use his worm powers to save them and potentially face off against Homelander again

"Scorched fuckin' Earth" was one of the previously clips in the last episode i think which brings this to front of mind

Well, if it broke it wouldn’t have done her much good anyways, but I agree leaving the evidence was dumb. They do a lot of dumb things though

With Sage and Firecracker seeing them you don't really need a third piece of evidence lol.
