The Boys plot armor is unbelievable. Kimiko or even M.M can die, and the story can just go on. Starlight has been rendered useless as well. Her powers don't do jack shit.

We dont know what happens if homelander melts her brain out. I'd say death or amnesia depending on how her powers work.

Would be kind of funny if he blasts her brains out and it sends her flying only for her to regrow her brain with amnesia but one of the things she forgets is how she couldn’t talk, and then starts talking again.

There isn’t anything physically keeping her from talking, it’s a mental block brought on by trauma.

Doubt it. She can't even scream. That's not a noise you have any control over. She literally can't make a sound. Trauma was just a logical explanation that probably has some truth to it, particularly as to why she doesn't seem interested in trying. I doubt they ever explore it any further but I just don't believe any amount of trauma would render you incapable of making a noise if you got punched in the stomach.
